Pinned toot

I'm sorry Raddies, I basically force unfollowed anyone on that instance just to declutter my followers, and is huuuge!
I'll re-auth the follow if you send a request, though, nothing personal.

What if: we also leave these nice kind subtoots in each other’s tellonym / curious cat so there’s the semi anonymous factor but the person knows for sure it’s for them

Extremely busy at work lately so I've been posting less but rest assured my eyes rest upon you, filthy people.

Please remember to properly use content warnings on your stuff.

I will also share some thoughts on proper Mastodon kink etiquette soon and plan on being more explicit in our rules about consent etc. -- if you have thoughts about the right way to engage in the broader fediverse as a kinky instance, feel free to DM me!

This blew my mind: politicians are pushing STEM education because they're tired of paying STEM specialists high wages. When the hiring pool is saturated with STEM types then the pay will suck.

Going ham on the ribbon-hair technique I just learned with (my version) of the Gibson Girl :)

OrgSpace is a social media instance on the Mastodon network built by, and for, community organizers. We believe social media is a critical tool for political education, relationship building, mobilizing folks; however, facebook, twitter and other mainstream networks have opted time and again for profit and commercializing personal data regardless of the consequences.

Mastodon is a decentralized, but federated network. This means that when you join, you get to interact with everyone you choose to on the wider Mastodon network; but you also get to see locally scoped content (from this instance) and help build a network particularly focused on building community and organizing those around us against oppressive systems and towards a society rooted in equity and global justice.

Setting up this instance has been a project of PDX Outreach for Justice, but we want this to be a global network of organizers and welcome moderators, admins, and engineers, and others who would be interested in contributing and shaping this process
